Day 1

Arrive in Bangalore

Upon arrival at Bangalore airport, our representative holding a nameboard will greet you and assist with the transfer to your hotel. Bangalore, now Bengaluru, is the capital of Karnataka and known as the Silicon Valley of India. Once the garden city under British rule, it has transformed into a hub for IT, culture, and cosmopolitan lifestyle. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Bangalore.

Day 2

Bangalore – Mysore (150 km)

After breakfast, visit Lalbagh Botanical Garden, established in 1760 by Hyder Ali and later developed by Tipu Sultan. Then, drive past Vidhana Soudha, an iconic legislative building inspired by Indo-Saracenic architecture.

Continue to Mysore, a city steeped in royal history. It served as the capital of the Wodeyar dynasty for nearly six centuries. Check-in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Mysore.

Day 3

Mysore – Coorg (110 km)

Visit the magnificent Mysore Palace, a fusion of Hindu, Mughal, Gothic, and Rajput styles, rebuilt in 1912 after the original palace burned down. It is illuminated with 100,000 bulbs every Sunday evening.

Then, stop by Chamundi Hills to visit the 11th-century Chamundeshwari Temple, dedicated to the patron goddess of the Mysore royal family.

Later, drive to Coorg (Kodagu), a lush hill station known for its coffee estates and martial traditions. Overnight stay at Coorg.

Day 4

Coorg Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin with Abbey Falls, nestled between coffee plantations. Visit Raja’s Seat, a favorite viewing point of the Kodava kings.

Explore a coffee plantation estate, where you learn about Arabica and Robusta beans, the drying process, and the global legacy of Indian coffee. Stop at Madikeri Fort, built in the 17th century by Mudduraja and later renovated by Tipu Sultan and the British.

Day 5

Coorg – Ooty (230 km)

After breakfast, drive through the lush Western Ghats to Ooty, a British-era hill station once called the “Queen of Hill Stations.”

Built as a summer retreat for the British Madras Presidency, Ooty boasts colonial charm, tea plantations, and serene lakes. On arrival, check-in and visit Ooty Lake for boating. Overnight stay at Ooty.

Day 6

Ooty Sightseeing

Start your day with a Nilgiri Toy Train ride, a UNESCO World Heritage experience offering panoramic views of tunnels, forests, and tea gardens.

Visit the Botanical Gardens (est. 1848), housing over 650 species of flowers and trees. Proceed to Doddabetta Peak, the highest in the Nilgiris at 2,637 meters.

End your day at the Tea Factory & Museum, where you can taste fresh Nilgiri tea. Overnight stay at Ooty.

Day 7

Ooty – Munnar (250 km)

After breakfast, drive to Munnar, Kerala’s most famous hill station, once a summer resort for British officers. It lies at the confluence of three rivers – Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundala.

Arrive and check-in at the resort. Take a leisurely walk through the tea gardens. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 8

Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. This protected area also offers great views of the rolling tea hills.

Continue to Mattupetty Dam, known for its hydroelectric project and boating, and then Echo Point, a scenic spot where your voice bounces off the nearby hills.

Visit the Tata Tea Museum, which tells the story of tea cultivation in South India. Return to hotel. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 9

Munnar – Alleppey (160 km)

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey (Alappuzha), often called the “Venice of the East.” It is famous for its interconnected backwater canals and houseboats (Kettuvallams), once used for transporting rice and spices.

Check into your private houseboat. Cruise through narrow canals, paddy fields, and small villages. Experience a traditional Kerala lunch onboard. Overnight on houseboat.

Day 10

Alleppey – Kochi (55 km)

After breakfast, disembark and drive to Kochi, one of India’s most historic port cities. Once ruled by the Portuguese, Dutch, and British, Kochi was a key spice trade hub since the 14th century.

Visit Fort Kochi, known for its colonial architecture, Chinese Fishing Nets, and St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. Explore the Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace) with stunning Kerala murals and the Jewish Synagogue (1568), located in Jew Town.

In the evening, enjoy a Kathakali dance performance, a classical dance-drama known for its elaborate costumes and storytelling. Later, our driver will drop you at the airport or hotel for your onward journey.
